“Jesus and the Old Testament — The Promise Fulfilled”
“Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.” – Matthew 5:17

From Genesis to Revelation, the Bible tells one story — the story of redemption through Jesus Christ. The Old Testament isn’t just history; it’s prophecy. Every sacrifice, festival, and promise pointed toward the coming Messiah. Jesus confirmed this truth when He said, “These are the very Scriptures that testify about Me.” (John 5:39). He is the thread that connects the garden to the cross, the law to grace, and prophecy to fulfillment.
📖 “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.” – Matthew 5:17
When we read the Old Testament through the lens of Christ, we see God’s plan unfolding with precision and purpose. The Passover lamb foreshadowed His sacrifice; the tabernacle revealed His dwelling among us; and the prophets spoke of His coming long before Bethlehem’s star shined. Jesus didn’t erase the old covenant — He completed it, proving that God’s promises are faithful and eternal.
